What we collect
BrewMate only records what you type in yourself:
- Brew details: dose, water, grind, temperature, time and taste notes
- Profile information and saved recipes
- Feedback you send us
- App preferences, like your units and guidance level
- Account sign-in details, handled securely by Firebase
Where your data lives
Your brews are stored on your phone. That is the original; the cloud copy is a backup. Nothing syncs to the cloud until you create an account.
Photos
You can attach a photo to a brew from your photo library or take one with your camera. BrewMate only uses the camera when you choose to take a photo. Pictures stay on your device and are never uploaded.
